fall reading/tbr pile 🍂🍁🍃☕️ i have b fall reading/tbr pile 🍂🍁🍃☕️

i have been LOVING fall romances this year (yes, haunted ever after takes place in the summer but it’s about ghosts so it’s an honorary member) and i wanted to showcase some i’ve enjoyed next to some i want to read!

drawn together and if it makes you happy captured fall so well i literally felt like i was outside in a sweater sipping apple cider and hearing the leaves swirl in the air. if you want comfort and atmosphere read them immediately!!

mate 🙂‍↕️ had me giggling and kicking my feet. ali hazelwood can WRITE a male love interest who yearns and i need her to write books for the next fifty years. if she has no fans i’m dead. also i had to reread bride obviously

the heartbreak hotel was almost immediately 5 stars for me. i even gave it to my mom to read and guess what?? 5 stars across the board. again, a man who YEARNS

currently reading fall i want and haunted ever after so commentary coming soon!

happy fall 🍁🍂 and if you see my wonky edited covers on top of other books you’re delusional
the heartbreak hotel by ellen o'clover 🏔️ th the heartbreak hotel by ellen o'clover 🏔️

thank you to netgalley for making this a read now and THANK YOU THANK YOU to ellen o'clover herself who sent me the widget when i couldn’t access it 😭 also enjoy some pics from the trip i took to estes park in 2021 where me and my best friend camped out and i had an allergic reaction to (maybe, i still haven’t fully figured it out) pesto

i’ve seen so many blurbs saying that this book is tender and honestly that’s the best way to describe it. i was giggling, i was crying, and i hated to finish it. the feeling i got when i thought i was still at the beginning and looked down and realized i was already 50% through…i hope all of you get to feel that way when this comes out. automatically preordered!

releases 9/23/25

sounds like love by ashley poston 🎶☀️🏖️🩷🎹

“how do i forgive my past self for all the futures i didn’t become?”

listen i love ashley poston but i was not expecting to love this one as much, just because the premise wasn’t really my thing…well JUST KIDDING cause i loved everything about sounds like love. mind you i AM gonna be biased because i grew up in north carolina and understand the cookout hype.

i felt so at home in joni’s homesickness, and that understanding with her character immediately drew me to her and kept me reading. she felt so deeply for every part of her childhood life, and i saw pieces of me reflected in that. and i ended up loving the telepathy and sasha! so confident and yet so vulnerable and the chemistry was there! had me grasping onto every word. also i cried, which i DON’T do often.

anyways, go read it.
